Catholic School Leaders,

As a fellow school leader and a member of the Board of Directors at Fr. Joe’s Villages I write to you asking that you consider involving your school community in supporting TOWERATHON: a fundraiser that supports the education of Homeless youth.  The benefitting organization Toussaint Academy, is an effort of Fr. Joe’s Villages, and a place where homeless teens can be supported and dream about becoming college bound.

We talk with our students often about the need to assist others and to exercise compassionate care for our fellow man.  Here is a great opportunity to give the message deeper meaning and to give students a chance to help those less fortunate than themselves.

The TOWERATHON will happen on Sat. June 27 at 550 Corporate Center, a 20 story building.  Your challenge is to climb as many flights as you can within a two hour period. Elevators will provide rides back down to the ground floor and we will host a stairwell for runners and one for walkers.

Consider encouraging your sports teams to participate and wear their jerseys to show school pride, maybe form a faculty team, maybe your parent leadership group can form a winning squad.  All the details you need can be found at this link and I am happy to answer any questions.
