Welcome to St. Columba Catholic School! The very moment you enter St. Columba, you realize that it is not just a place for children, but a place for families. Parents know they belong here and you can see it by the manner in which they interact with the children, the staff and each other. Parents are partners in the learning journey of their children. We invite you to visit us and take a tour!

Dear Families,

St. Columba has come to the end of another school year.  This will complete 55 years of the school serving its surrounding community.  Throughout those years principals, teachers, and students, have walked through these doors, and all have left some sort of contribution or legacy behind.  The school’s livelihood has endured many challenges throughout the years as well. Through God’s grace it is all those contributions by the many selfless community members who have kept St. Columba thriving and will continue to do so.

I would like to extend my most sincere appreciation to all of the families who have supported me throughout my four years at St. Columba.  As I end my time at this school I am pleased to know that I am leaving it in a good place. Academically our students STAR testing scores placed overall in Reading and Mathematics in the “Greater Growth Percentile, 65%-95%.”  The faculty are very proud of the progress the students have made academically. The school’s PE Department and Sports Program is strong, two new sports teams have been added for students to participate in, football and cheer. St. Columba’s technology has been upgraded and Chrome books will be available for the students in the Fall of 2018.  Our Harmony program will continue to work on our student’s social skills by teaching students how to solve conflict resolution in a positive manner.

It has been an absolute pleasure building community bonds with the parishioners.  St. Columba parishioners have been instrumental towards supporting the school. Many of the parishioners have personal investments in the school as alum parents, but also truly understand the value of Catholic education.  On behalf of the faculty and students, thank you for being our angels. We need more parents to join the parish ministries to keep the community strong and vibrant.

I have been blessed to work with some talented educators who have bright and successful futures in front of them. I commend St. Columba’s faculty and staff for all their dedication and hard work towards providing qualtiy faith-based education. Unfortunately St. Columba will be loosing Mrs. Lunn and Mrs. Castillo ( Ms. Duran).  They both will be moving on to other schools. Both these teachers are examples of stellar educators who give their whole self to their profession. The students will always be dear to our hearts. Children are a breath of fresh air and make the world a better place. I will keep each one of them in my prayers and wish all the best for a bright future.

May you all be blessed with peace and happiness.

God Speed!!

Ms. Navarro
